2026 Municipal Election
The City of Auburn regular municipal election took place August 25, 2026. Find important dates and deadlines regarding this election on the election schedule.
Please note that county, state and federal elections are administered by Lee County and not the City of Auburn.
Candidate Information
Candidate qualifying was held June 9-23, 2026. The following candidates qualified for the municipal election on August 25:
Mayor: Ron Anders, Jr., Robert Wilkins
Ward 1: Connie Taylor
Ward 2: Kirsten Milenkovitch
Ward 3: Beth Witten
Ward 4: Tyler Adams
Ward 5: Toshiro Jackson, Michael “Mike” Menese, Henry G. “Sonny” Moreman
Ward 6: Bob Parsons
Ward 7: Max Coblentz
Ward 8: Augustus Ayers, Tommy Dawson
Candidate Qualifications
To run for mayor or a seat on the City Council, candidates must be at least 18 years old and:
- Have lived in Auburn for 90 days prior to election.
- (For Council) Have lived in the district for 90 days prior to election.
- Be a U.S. Citizen.
- Be a registered voter.
