Our Detective Section investigates reported crimes, criminal offenses and other illegal activities that occur within APD’s jurisdiction. The section includes a Narcotics Unit that investigates crimes involving the use, manufacture, sale and distribution of drugs.
The section works closely with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to pursue and investigate felonious crimes along with other criminal offenses and activities. Our team actively seeks out new technologies and training opportunities to stay abreast of current criminal activity trends and investigations, all in an effort to reduce crime and provide a safe community for all Auburn residents and visitors.
